We had the honor of interviewing Dr. Jake Glanville, a trailblazer in computational immunology and the CEO of Centivax. With a career that has woven through Pfizer, Stanford, and biotech entrepreneurship, Jake is now preparing for first-in-human trials of a universal flu vaccine by 2026. Between all of these obligations, he also pursued a side project developing a universal antivenom, with the help of autodidact Tim Friede.

In our conversation, Jake reflects on these breakthroughs and future perspectives on the industry—including where AI genuinely delivers on its promise in therapeutic development.
